The concept behind this piece was to represent the star sign Aries which is portrayed by the symbol of the ram and travels through the season of Autumn, (in Australia anyway). Thinking of those two symbols as images, to me, felt warm and calm, and this is what I’ve tried to capture in this piece with its soft lines and symmetrical swirls. It’s important to me that a piece I’m working on is enjoyable to look at and even sometimes a bit hypnotic in it’s own way.
